A daily use Gastric supplement designed with your horse's gastric health and well being in mind. Containing prebiotics to support fibre digestibility, gut health and nutrient assimilation in the hindgut. Gastro Sport is also high in probiotics which encourage the growth of beneficial bacteria already present in the horse's small intestine helping to improve your horses overall health and digestion. Probiotics help to maintain proper pH levels, absorption of nutrients, feed efficiency and aid immune health. Gastro Sport contains a proven gastric buffer in Acid Buf which is manufactured from calcareous marine algae, which is harvested from clean, unpolluted waters off the coast of Ireland and Iceland. It is a highly effective buffer and pure source of bioavailable minerals deposited within its structure by the sea, especially calcium and magnesium. Gastro Sport is a multidimensional approach to supporting gastric health as it also contains magnesium which is well known for its calming effect on horses.

From an unruly Moose to a consistent performer

I have always struggled with keeping my mare consistent in her training. She can be sharp, spooky, and unpredictable—some days amazing, other days nearly unrideable. This was made worse by grazing, as she would come in from the field looking bloated (and grumpy!).

James was incredibly helpful, recommending not only Gastro Sport as a supplement but also switching her feed to Speedy Beet.

After just a week on the new regime, I can confidently say that for the first time in 15 years, my mare is showing real consistency! Her bloating has significantly improved, she is calmer, and she’s much more willing to train.

Highly recommend

I am very impressed with Gastro sport. I have used many other products and this is the only one that has made a difference to my horse. Her coat looks great, she is much happier with grooming and tacking up. Will definitely be using more of Equine Products Ireland in the future.

I highly recommend the Gastro sport it’s made a big difference in my horses. It’s made them very chilled and has put an unbelievable shine on their coats keeping their stomachs happy aswell I have tried other products and this is the only one that’s worked for my horses 😊
